Moment in time – polar bear

For this task my group had to watch a polar bear encounter video and write what we could hear see and feel in the video.

First my group had to watch the video and write for the poem what my group can, Hear. I heard the paws of the pale brute land on top of the weak plastic shield, rumbling the cage trying to break their way into the fresh meat hiding inside.

Next my group and I wrote what we could see, example I saw the menacing black dots appearing to be creeping towards me, I gazed upon the pale entity through my brittle cage as it scratched and rammed its huge torso into the only thing that stood between me and certain death.

I enjoyed this task because of the poems we wrote was really fun and amazing.

Haiku

LI: To write a poem with haiku.

For this task me and my partner wrote a haiku poem about winter, Example Winter The weightless snow falls. Footsteps crunching the abbiess. As I carry on. A figure appear. I stare in a state of shock. I watch as it sprints. The white headed beast. Emerges from the snowy lands. Darkened by the moon

Letter to santa

This week I had to write a letter to santa.

First I had to do paragraph 1 : Acknowledge the wellbeing of Santa, the reindeer, and the elves. Mention the well-being of Santa, the reindeer, and the elves. Convey excitement about Christmas and curiosity about the North Pole activities. Then I had to do paragraph 2 : Mention efforts to be good throughout the year. Provide specific examples of good behavior or helpful actions.

Next I had to write paragraph 3 where I had to write to santa what I want for christmas and list a short amount of words describeing what I want for christmas. Then I had to do paragraph 4 : Wish Santa and his team a joyful holiday season. Express hopes for happiness, kindness, and cheer for everyone.

Lastly I had to do the closing off : Sign off with a warm closing, such as “Merry Christmas” or “Lots of Love.” First name only.

Writing a book

Title The mysterious jungle
Orientation Bob goes to the jungle to explore and find the mysterious treasure.
Problem Tob the villain finds the treasure and does everything in his path to stop bob and nob to get to it.
Events Bob and his friend nob go on an adventure exploring the mysterious jungle. They come across a secret tomb that they fall into and are terrified as they see a huge ball coming at them with a quick speed. As they are running from the ball they see and exit close by, “Let’s go there” I said, so we turn to the corner huffing and puffing as if we were out of breath. We go outside and head off to the direction of the treasure.
Solution As they are heading off they come across a person “hey wait a minute IT’S YOU TOB ” i said in a loud voice. As we were going to fight he steps on a trap and captures us, lucky i broke out of the cage and fought with Tob. Then we heard the police so we made a run for it and Tob got captured.

Plan and Blurb for : The Mysteroius Jungle

In ‘The Mysterious Jungle,’ Bob’s quest for treasure becomes a deadly game as his friend Tob sets challenging traps. When their third friend, Nob, joins the hunt, they all get ensnared in Tob’s trap. They must escape but face accusations, leading to unjust imprisonment. The story explores friendship, deception, and unforeseen alliances in the heart of the jungle.

Finish it

Throughout this year, our Writing group has learnt different aspects of writing a narrative story. This week’s task was to “finish” 6 stories we chose out of the slides Miss Tele’a provided.

 First I had to leave 6 books for me to read and delete the rest.

Next I had to put my answer in the text and I had to write down a lot of sentences for example if an story ended like this. The friends quickly grabbed hold of each other as the boat tipped further and further to the side. Then I would have to write down an other sentence in mind here, One of the friends said “We are all going to die!!!” so I had to think because I couldn’t swim and at the glance over my shoulder I saw some boats so I quickly yelled, “Everyone get on the boats immediately”.

My favourite ending I wrote was for the story callum realised that hanging out with his family was more important than playing games

TREE

This week I created a poster for the recount structure which is TREE.

First I had to explain what T stands for, T stands for Title hook the reader in.

Next I had to explane what R stands for, R stands for reveal.

After that I had to explain what E stands for, E stands for events and its the main part of a recount.

Lastly I had to explain about the last E. The last E stands for ending and it needs to end with an I statment. A recount also needs to have an adjective, time connective and a past tense word.

Highlight Recount Document

This week I had to do a highlight recount doc and use TREE aka Title Reavel Events and Endding.

First I had to read the book after I can highlight on my doc, After finishing reading the text I had to highlight these different text, I had to highlight the title purple the reavel red the events blue and the ending green, I had to find all of these different sections in the text.

Next I had to find the adjectives past tense words and time connectives, Then I had to highlight the adjective words yellow and the past tense words light blue and the time connectivess pink.

Lastly I had to answer some questions that are about the text if you want to look at it your self the documnet is bellow this text.

Daniel Highlight Recount
