Nouns and Adjectives

This week we learnt what a noun and a adjective is.

First we explained what a noun and a adjective is on our paper.

Next we added up the words to match it with the nouns and adjectives.

Then we had see if there is an noun or an adjective in the three pitures.

Lastly we made a google draw of our own noun and adjective.

 

 

Osberuable and literel information.

Obsuruable information is something that can be seen directly.

Literal information is information that is printed or written down.

Obseruable information can be seen writant guessing extra information.

For example,in the first slide ,

Here is warter.

Odsuruable information is something that you can retrieve information like there was a dog on the grass.

Literal information is something that is printed or writen down like for example the two boy’s are bending down.

and the anzwer might be I dont now because they might just be diging looking for something or pukeing in the ground.

T-Ball Skills

We revised diffrent types of  t-ball skills the skills. Were batting and taging the batter with the ball.

Frst we ran a relay race around base to base back to the home base.

Next we got taught how to bat.

Then we played the real tee ball game.

Lastly we switched to play against diffrent teams.

I enjoyed is taging the batters with the ball. I need to improve is practice batting and what. I did is going to base to baes well.

The 4 C’s

The 4 C’s

 

We learnt about the 4 C’s of leadership. They are Confidence, Collaboration, Communication,  and Co-operation. 

 

First we discussed what good and bad characteristics there are:

Communication is talking to each other. Confidence is having faith and strength. Collaboration is working with someone. Cooperation is a  process of working together.

 

Next we played a game to see what a good leader is. We got a blind fold and the leader showed them the way to the cone. When we chose our leader we talked about if they have Confidence, Collaboration, Communication,  and Co-operation. 

 

Lastly  Mr Ogilvie changed the rules which meant if we picked up the wrong cone we are eliminated. These rules made it harder because there were lots of different colour cones .

 

We enjoyed this task because we learnt about the 4 C’s. We need to improve on communicating without talking because we always make sounds. We did well on guiding our group on picking up the cones.

T-Ball Skill’s

We learned about diffrent T ball skills . The skills we learned were hitting ,running and throwing.

First we practised throwing by playingball rain.

Next we practised  running between the bases by having a relay race.

Lastly we practised hitting. We hit the ball on the tee.

I enjoyed is  hiting. I need to improve is throwing. I did well is running around the hops.

Characteristics

We identify characteristics of a good team member.

First we discussed in class what characteristic is. A characteristic is typical of a particular person.

Next we got a paper and drew a body outline so we can write the good characteristics of a team member on the inside and the bad characteristics on the outside. We wrote words on the inside like: honesty, leadership, and encouragement and the bad characteristics such as: Lazy, Leaving people down, and disrespectful. 

Afterwards, we went outside and played a game called moon ball. We had to work together and figure out what kind of characteristics our group had.We also had to identify action and factors that can help a team from working cooperatively.

We enjoyed this task because we learnt that our group had different characteristics. We need to improve on working together because we didn’t communicate well. We did well on keeping the ball off the ground with our feet.

keywords

Today we learnd about what a keyword is. A keyword unlocks things because keywords have meanings that you understand  a sentence better.

First we went to go and read each page to find the keyword.

Then we used the keywords to make a summary.

After that I wrote down my 15 word summary.

What I liked is that I like to find keywords and what I did well is finding out where keywords are and I need to improve is to find out what a meaning is for other words.
