Google form

This week I had to link my google form to the spread sheet my teacher put on.

First I had to link in my google form gala and and then answer the other students form that were above and below my name. Then I had to go on my google form and press on responses and look at what people would like to have a pencil case and book mark.

Next I had to do my form results and write down a question from my form on to the text here are two examples from my form 55.6% of people want a extra pocket for there pencil case, And  77.8% of people want a rectangular shape for there pencil case.

I enjoyed doing this task for the school gala and looking at how many people would like a pencil case and bookmark.

How to make a google form

This week I learnt how to make a google form.

First I had to make the title of my google form school gala and add questions about a book mark and pencil case. Then I had to add 10 questions about the school gala and pencil case and book mark. After that I had to make a google slide about how to make a google form.

Next I had to show how to make a google form and where to go to find it. Then I had to add imagines and write down what to do on your google form like how to add a question or how to change the font and others. The explanation is below.

Inquiry

This week’s assignment for Inquiry was on Legends of Learning.  The first task was about caring for and meeting the needs of different living beings (plant, herbivorous animal and carnivorous animal), providing them with the energy source corresponding to each species. The second task was about how the amount of matter in a substance is conserved when it changes form, even when it appears to vanish. The last task was about identifying decisions involving income, spending, saving, credit, and charitable giving – this is a hint at what our inquiry topic is next term. 

Maori

This week I learnt about maori and a few words in maori,

First I had to make my kwl chart that stands for know wonder and learned. Then I had to write what i know about maori what i would like to know about maori and what I have learned. After that I had to translate english words to maori words by watching a video.

Next I had to use the line tool to match the kupu to its’ correct translation. Then I had to make a Kahoot, Booklet, Quizlet etc, Google Slide or a DLO so i could make my blog.

Ice experiment

This week I had to write about an ice experiment i had to do.

First I had to make a copy of my experiment obsorvation template. Then I had to write my hypothesis/what i predict will happen. Then I had to list down the materials for my ice experiment group. Then i had to write my procedure what happend first second and third.

Next I had to do my observations and conclusions.For my observation I had to write what happend during my experiment. For my conclusions I had to write what I found out about my ice experiment. I found out that In conclusion, I found that the salt on the ice is getting smaller and now it’s staying the same and the ice on the tinfoil is making the ice still the same.

Last I had to make a DLO explaning why salt melts quicker on ice for my blog.

Tupa-A-rangi

This week I learnt about Tupa-A-rangi and Tupa-A-nuku. Tupa-A-Rangi is all about native trees and plants, Tupa-A-Nuku is about nature.

First I had to use one of the matki stars to make my DLO about two of the stars. Then I had to pick one of these qusetions to make a DLO about like what are the best times to grow vegtabtables and other crops for Tupa-A-Rangi.

Next I had to make a second DLO about Tupa-A-Nuku. Tupa-A-Nuku is about crops and vegtables becaues it helps us lean more about matariki.

Food labels

This week I leant about food labels.

First I had to make a copy of food labels and find the definition for these words, calorie count serving size and Nutritional Facts.

Next I had to write about the surving size the A “serving size” is a standard amount of a food, such as a cup or an ounce. Serving sizes can help you when choosing foods and when comparing similar items while shopping, but they are not recommendations for how much of a certain food to eat.

Food Groups

This week I learnt about food Groups. The five different food groups are Grain, Protein, Fruit, Vegtable, and Dairy.

First I had to make a diet that I should eat on Friday Saturday and Sunday including useing the food groups. Heres an big example. For grain you might think its just bread but there are much more like popcorn torteas crackers and much much more. For fruits there are dragon fruit orange and a tomato and more. For vegtables there are celery broccoli and peas. Heres a fact broccoli has more protein then any ordinary steak.

Next I had to make a food pirament that shows what is best to eat for example you should eat more grains beacues its good for. Next What you should eat most is fruits and vegtables beacause they have way more protein. Then protein next. and last Dairy because of the suger.

 

 

Fillter

This week I had to do water fillter and how to take out all the bacteria in it.

First I had to get the items to make a water filter. The items are a clear bottle that is cut from the middle part near the lid cottan balls, sand, and pebbles. So I had to put cottan balls at the bottom of the bottle sand obove the cottan balls and pebbles at the top.

Next The dirty water goes through the pebbles that are catching the bigger pieces that are in the dirt water. Then the dirty water goes through the sand which is trapping all the little pieces of bacteria in it. Last the dirty water gets sucked up by that cottan balls which is sucking up all the bacteria in it to make clean water.

Lastly I had to write how a filter works and make my own kind of fillter just by useing those items. I enjoyed this task because now I know how to make a water filter but I suggest after the water comes out you should boil it to make it clear because somtimes it doesent come out clean so I suggest boiling the water before you drink it.

Inquiry

This week I lerant how to costomis my own trasportation vehical.

First I had to make my own traspotation vehical on a google draw. so I had to tell what kind of vehical that I made like I might of made air trasportation land transportation. sea transportation. or some kind of rail transportation vehical but I made a vehical that could do all.

Next I had to go on a google doc and wrtite what the introduction is going to be about. Then I had to put my labbled diagram on to the google doc. last I had to write my explanation about why I put this on my transportation vehical.
